In 2013, the City partnered with affordable housing nonprofit Frameworks CDC to implement the CLT program. Frameworks serves as the real estate listing agent for homes and helps educate and counsel potential home buyers. “AHFC has a longstanding relationship with Frameworks to provide Homebuyer Counseling for Spanish speakers,” said Letitia Brown-Moore, Neighborhood Program Manager for the City of Austin. “Frameworks was also instrumental in identifying a lender that would originate loans under the community land trust model.” City’s Community Land Trust Program Making Dream of Home Ownership Affordable

Joyce Mcdonald Selected for Tingari-silverton-foundation Social Entrepreneur of 2013 Award

Joyce McDonald, Founder and Executive Director of Frameworks Community Development Corporation Inc., has been selected as the Tingari-Silverton Foundation Social Entrepreneur of the Year for 2013!  Joyce was presented with the Award at the Ernst & Young Entrepreneur of the Year Gala on Wednesday, June 5, 2013 at the Austin Hilton Downtown, with more than 700 leaders of the Central Texas business, civic and philanthropic community in attendance.
